   The Bathroom

Pictured is the bathroom (which also contains a laundry area). The tub is a corner tub, and in this pic is a temporary shower curtain. The mirror above the sink is a real mirror.

I'm not sure if I like the bathroom curtains or not. I like the shower curtain, though! I had a hard time getting the bathroom lit up enough to be able to focus the camera properly, so there are shadows and such things abundant in this picture. Of course, looking back, I would have done well to have removed the washer and dryer from in front of the window before I took the picture, since the curtains were supposed to have been the focus!

I enjoyed painting the little toothbrushes, soap dish and glass holder I purchased in a kit from Chrysnbon. They are extremely tiny, though!!

Here is the awesome washer and dryer I've been looking for for so long! It is made by Town Square Miniatures, is all metal, and the doors open and close. I've seen these in a catalog for $29.00 each, but I didn't want to pay that price for them (even though they're worth it!) So, my friend Julie has been on a mission to find these for me and has been bombarded with emails from Ebay whenever a new set is listed....but sadly, the only ones ever listed are made of resin or wood and are just not THESE. Then we went to a mini shop together.....and lo and behold, she calls me from across the room with these in her hand. Not only that, it was only $29.00 for BOTH of them! Half price is not bad! So, her mission is complete.....and I am SOOOOOO happy with the results!

When I opened the doors on these there was styrofoam packed inside. To my great surprise, when I pulled out the styrofoam I gave a little yelp of joy, because look what was inside!!!!! An agitator!!! I had no idea these were THAT detailed!!! And the inside of the dryer is round, just like a real one. Julie probably wishes she had gotten these for herself, now that she's seen mine! Alas, there was only this one set....and I am soooooo glad she found it for me!
