Here is a fireplace I bought from Hobby Builders Supply. The mantel clock has since been replaced with a more ornate one in a glass dome. There are some magazines, a pair of scissors, and some cut-out coupons on the table but they're hard to make out. There's also a white bearskin rug in front of the fireplace, and a bear cub is sitting on it. My mom bought me the gorgeous sofa, which is the centerpiece of the room.

Here is another shot of the living room. If you squint really hard and look underneath the stairs, you can see 2 little white mice getting ready to run into the kitchen for a snack. The black object in the foreground is the back of a tv.

This is a chair I made from a ceramic salt shaker. I upholstered it with fabric and added some stuffing to make it soft. It looks pretty comfy to me!

I made these curtains just for this Christmas tree, so it will be visible from outside the house, looking in. These curtains are okay for now....at least they match the carpet and the overall blue tone of the room. I really wanted curtains in this room with tie-backs, though....but because of the Christmas tree, I wanted something that would not cover the window too completely so the tree can be seen from the outside. The tree is so cute all lit up in the window, when the house is turned around. So, these may or may not end up being replaced.

Here the tree is lit up. It is actually lit up in every picture, but the flash washes out the lights. They are tiny LED's on a strand of 20, and I have two strands on this tree. These came from Michael's Crafts....they usually sell for 6 dollars a strand, but not only did I get 5 strands of them at half price, they were also 40% off that on clearance! I should have gotten more.....
