The House in Progress

At long last, a front door! After an entire year of putting off making and hanging it, I was actually pleased with the results! |
|
Here is the front decorated for Christmas. I was still in the process of decorating when this picture was taken. I will add more to this page as soon as I get them downloaded and resized. |

Here is a closeup of the icicles I hung from the roof. My husband found these
for me at Big Lots....I think they look pretty icy!

You can see here that wallpaper has been added to the attic. I hadn't really done anything else in the attic area at this point. Now I need to build a fold-up staircase so my happy little doll guests can access the bedroom area in the attic. In this pic, I've also installed the upper floor walls, finished the expansion of the bathroom, and added doors. I still have a LONG way to go! |

Here is a shot of the full interior of the house. I finally hung the kitchen cabinets! I just threw a few furnishings in so it would look a bit lived in while I decorate it for Christmas. I was going to decorate it last year but the upper stories were unfinished, and I just didn't feel like decorating a half-finished house. |
